The range is unique in the British market, and rare in the wider European sense, in being designed and formulated by a practising Medical Herbalist with almost 30 years clinical experience. To the uninitiated all herbal teas may appear to stem from a common raw material source in terms of quality, whilst in reality a wide range of herb qualities may be sourced, from poor ? almost industrial grade, through food grade, to the top quality medicinal grade, or so-called Pharmacopoeial (D.A.B. 10) grade. It is the latter which is required for registered medical preparations and it is the same grade, which is used wherever possible in Dr Stuart?s herbal teas. Dr. Stuart?s is the only brand to use herbs to D.A.B. 10 standard. As such the quality of Dr Stuart?s delivers both enhanced taste and aroma (due to more than twice the levels of active essential oils) and an effectivity in medicinal terms in line with known applications. The range pioneered the use of purely natural ingredients in fruit tea blends when being the first to ban the use of artificial and ?nature identical? flavours in the products. This move has now been copied by a few manufacturers and has helped to create a truly natural alternative beverage. The ethos of the range is therefore quite simply to offer the best available quality of ingredients, blended in a way which delivers a flavoursome and healthful herbal tea or tisane.
